Dr. Schubert is a professor of Computer Science and Engineering at California State University, San Bernardino. Dr. Schubert's primary interests are in scientific computing and computer engineering. His specific areas of research are in robust estimation and its applications, such as patterned growth of organisms in extreme environments, Proton Computed Tomography (pCT), MRI enhancement, patient positioning by infrared cameras, reconstruction of 3d objects from photos, and water contaminant locating. Dr. Schubert also has interest in digital and network design, space applications, and bioinformatics. He is published in SIMAX, Medical Physics and numerous peer-reviewed conferences.
Dr. Gomez is a professor of Computer Science and Engineering at California State University, San Bernardino. Dr. Gomez's primary interests are in parallel programming, cluster design, compiler design, and the practical applications of these fields.
John Tafas
Mr. Tafas was a master's student at California State University, San Bernardino. Mr. Tafas's research interests are in numerical algorithms and FPGA design. He is now at Microsoft in the Windows development team.
Tom S. Lee
Mr. Lee graduated with his BS and MS from CSUSB. He is now a software engineer at Optivus. His research interests are in medical imaging, particularly MRIs, and the use of GP-GPUs in imaging.
Mrs. Curnutt is a master's student at California State University, San Bernardino. Mrs. Curnutt's research interests are in patterned growth of organisms in extreme environments, network design, and she has extensive hardware experience.
Mr. Cai graduated with his BS from CSUSB and is finalizing his MS. His research interests are in scientific computing, MRIs, localization, and the use of GP-GPUs in imaging.
